From June 13th - August 26th,
Food for the Summer
(this number includes lunches, snacks and breakfasts.)
30,720 LUNCHES WERE SERVED in the
school system camps
and within the Food for the Summer program.
16,788 of those lunches were served by a
Food for the Summer volunteer.
Of all meals served, 24,512 meals were lunches and snacks delivered by a Food for the Summer volunteer.

In cooperation with the USDA's Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), in collaboration and cooperation with our partnership organizations, our community volunteers, and with the help of grant funding and donations, children were fed at 40 sites in Chapel Hill and Carrboro.
